This photographic series called Irish Grandmother speaks so deeply to me. There are days when I can’t fathom never speaking to or kissing the cheek of my grandmother. And so when I see someone else’s grandmother, I get a little weepy. The reflective nature of fall has had me confront that loss head on. This look into the daily life of a grandmother reminds me of the times I spent photographing my own grandmother and her home.
