Swiss Cottage

Photography by Rebekah Burder for Honeysuckle Life.

A 19th century Swiss Cottage replica built by an Irish nobleman as a little getaway? Sign me up. This amazing home is located in the city of Cahir, located in southeastern Ireland. It was renovated just a little while ago after falling into disrepair and being used (briefly) as a stable for horses. Yes, a stable. With floors of walnut and wallpaper panels by Dufour, it’s a charming cottage just waiting to be explored.

The roof was amazing. Let’s build a house like this!
