Lismore Gardens

Owned by the Cavendish family, Lismore Castle and Gardens is one of those gorgeous places you could keep going back to again and again. The lower gardens are dedicated to lush groves and quiet walks through woods, while the upper gardens are bursting with apple trees, vegetables, and greenhouses. Peek through one hedge and you’ll find a full tennis court. Peek through another and you’ll find a quiet bench to rest and contemplate. It’s an introvert’s dream while vacationing.

The gardens are open weekends only in April, and then daily from May to September.
