Concrete Shaving Kit from Mjolk.

I distinctly remember my parent’s bathroom closet in the house I grew up in. It wasn’t off-limits, but it had the feel of the forbidden with boxes of bandages and creams, and various other toiletries. I can remember wetting my dad’s shaving brush and soap, just to see it foam. The world of marketing has sold us on disposable razors and creams that come out of aluminum cans. But men are starting to reclaim the art of grooming, and I’m loving it. Here’s a few of my favorites from around the interwebs.

Dirty Deeds Shaving Soaps.

The shaving kit goes Spanish with this cigar box repurposed as a soap and brush holder. Several difference scents are available.

European Shave Set from Classic Shaving.

A stainless steel bowl, butterfly razor, and badger brush make this an elegantly European kit.

Floris London Gold Plated Shaving Kit and Rosewood Shaving Bowl.

Founded in 1730, Floris London is highly esteemed as the authority on fragrances and shaving accessories. And nowhere is that luxury more obvious than in a gold plated razor and brush set.

The Art of Shaving Oils and Creams

This set of creams and oils makes the perfect accessory to a kit, and The Art of Shaving sells them in a variety of scents.

  1. I’ve always wanted to get Garrett a nice grooming set (wouldn’t that be the best gift for a groom on their wedding day? Anywho.), but I’ve never taken the time to investigate. So I’ll have to bookmark these to think on for Christmas :)
