Attics and Dormers

Attic rooms have been my favorite ever since a childhood friend’s father renovated their extra storage space into a bedroom and bathroom combo. There was something about the tucked away space that spoke to my inner introvert. Every time I see a room or nook tucked into a dormer space, I get a little envious. Well, in Ireland, I’ll have my attic full as we have two bedrooms and a bathroom on the second floor which used to be –you guessed it!– an attic. So here’s my love letter to slanted walls and skylights.
