If you’re looking for a professional photographer or creative that lives in Birmingham, Alabama, chances are they’re having a drink at Urban Standard. It’s one of my favorite locations, and if you have a chance to visit, you’ll understand why. Filled with vintage decor, and beautiful architectural details, the cafe exists to foster creativity. The menu is filled with seasonal and local fare, from peach cupcakes to winter salads.

Don’t miss the strawberry cupcakes or blueberry rooibos (pronounced roy-bus) tea!
