When I saw this sweet backyard dinner party on the Sweetest Occasion, I knew I had to find out more. It’s exactly the way I like to entertain. Simple settings with a multi-course menu of home-cooked food. Check out the delicious menu at the end of the post.

 

Menu:

Aperitif- Alsatian Cheese Tart
Soup- Soupe à l’Oignon Gratinée
Fish Course- Red Pepper Rouille and Shrimp Toast
Sorbet -Watermelon Sorbet
Entrée - Cornish Hen Coq Au Vin (with Garlic Mashed Potatoes and French Cut Green Beans)
Dessert - Flourless Chocolate Cake with Strawberries
