After seeing this Italian wedding on Elizabeth Anne Designs, I knew I had to find more images of the venue, Sextantio Albergo Diffuso. It’s a town nearly destroyed by an earthquake in the 70′s turned into a restoration project. It functions as a hotel and event venue, but it’s unique in that the rooms are all over the town instead of one building. The developer focused on sustainable development that honored the medieval roots of the town. If you’d like to read more about it, the NY Times featured the hotel in the article, “Saving Towns by Filling Rooms in Italy.”
