You may have noticed a few changes around Honeysuckle Life recently. Some of the categories have disappeared, while new ones have taken their place. Images are more decor and style focused and a newsletter was launched. There are still recipes and DIY projects, just not as many.
It’s the result of several months of business soul-searching. At the end of last year, I realized that Honeysuckle Life wasn’t as successful as I knew it could be. The content categories were too broad, and the overall direction was unfocused and vague. So, I sat down and did what I should have done two years ago. I created a business plan, nailed down strategies for everything from marketing to SEO, created an editorial calendar and publishing schedule.
The end result is a much clearer focus. In one sentence:
The mission of Honeysuckle Life is to serve as a resource for decor and style inspiration, healthy and organized living, and tips and resources for a vintage modern lifestyle.
For those of you that read Honeysuckle Life for the essays, journaling prompts, thoughts on God, goal setting, and more personal thoughts, don’t be worried! You can still find all of those posts here. Later this year, I’ll launch a more personal website focused on these issues.
So what can you expect? More focused content, themes (each month will have a new theme), pretty images of interiors and decor ideas, healthier recipes, with a little dash of travel.
Thank you, as always, for reading Honeysuckle Life. Feel free to comment below with any thoughts, or email me at info at honeysucklelife dot com.
