It’s finally happened. After a year of living in this house, we purchased the necessary frames and mats, printed off a selection of our photos, and hung them on the freshly painted walls. It took about four hours and added a lot of warmth. The collage above is from our trip to Little Corn Island in September of 2010.
Top row: monkey from the Isletas de Granada, cathedral in Parque Central de Granada, the running of the bulls.
Bottom row: path to Indian Rocks Beach, Mahon Falls, horses in the fog.
Top row: the view from Iglesia Merced, Rock of Cashel.
Bottom row: dead trees in Yellowstone, graveyard cross in Granada.
Prints by Charles Buchanan.
“Be the Change” and “Girl Holding Koala” purchased on Etsy. “Young Boy with Balloons” was purchased from a homeless boy in New Orleans.
For under $100, we now have several galleries throughout our house with art and photography that has meaning.
