I hope you’re ready for this–easy, budget friendly, five minute–scrub. It’s much easier and cheaper than the Sugar Scrub I posted two years ago. I use at the beginning of my shower so the oil has time to soak in before I wash it off. You can also leave it on if you don’t mind having slightly oily legs until it absorbs. You can find essential oils (not extracts!) at any health food store, Whole Foods or sometimes even Publix.

Warning: Be careful when using this scrub. It’s extremely slippery!

Sea Salt Scrub

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sea salt
  • 1/2 cup sweet almond oil
  • 20 drops essential oil

Directions:

  1. Pour the sea salt into a food processor. Process for a minute on high speed until granules are small and won’t scratch your skin.
  2. Place salt into a small bowl. Pour oil over top. Mix together until salt is completely wet.
  3. Pour drops of essential oil into mixture until you reach desired level of scent.
  4. Store in an airtight container.
